As far as I konw, there are two methods you can reset your password.
Firtsly: Reset Your Windows Password Using the Command Prompt
1. Boot your computer using your Windows installation disc.
2. Wait for the setup files to load, and select your language. Click Next.
3. Click the Repair your computer link on the Install Windows screen.
4. Select the operating system to repair, and note the drive letter on which the OS is installed (it is probably C: or D:). Click Next.
5. Click Command Prompt at the bottom of the list of recovery tools.

Software will not recognize the correct removable drive (J:), it lists 3 non existant drives.

Seconly, Windows 7 uses local accounts, you can’t reset it. However, there should be the built in admin account without password. Run Safe mode with command prompt, and enter “net user administrator /active:yes”. Reboot and login as Administrator with no password.

No, you cannot.
Not in a way as described in this guide, because then you could crack any windows user password.
I believe what you referring to is windows password reset. This occurs when you are locked out with no computer access.
