Whenever I delete Samsung Internet from settings Samsung puts it right back in after I take away all permissions.Infuriating because I cannot get my emails until I give Samsung permission to read edit and permanently delete my emails.Nosy bastards.
I have tried all solutions none work because there is no network data usage for Samsung and I am blocked from setting up VPN.There is only two network providers shown and Samsung is not one of them.
I’m looking for a solution that will cause apps to use mobile data rather than wireless network connections. Netguard, based on my experiments, does not do that. It apply blocks their wifi network access, which then causes the app to freeze or throw an error message, rather than making use of the carrier data. It seems that once you turn on a wireless network connection in Android that any app that’s looking to get to the internet is going to go that way and if it can’t it’s just going to stop rather than redirecting its inquiry out mobile data. You have to turn off the wireless access in order for the app to use mobile data to function. Android needs to allow us to make those granular changes in some way either with a routing table or a permission list as some phones are able to do but not my Google pixel phone.

Anyone have any idea which Android 9/10 phones this works on?
Have a VoIP app that I want to restrict to LTE only as WiFi goes over satellite link.
Thanks
Samsung Canada says this is not possible to selectively choose network per app. This reply was received on Nov-21-2019. I am running Android 9, Baseband version a505Wvlu2asj1, Android security patch level Oct-1-2019

Samsung Internet is enforced by Samsung and cannot be removed, disabled, or anything. You can only choose to ignore it and not use it.

i want to block vpn from play store..but ?/ suggest me.
Thank you! Took me forever to figure out how to do this on my nokia. 🙂
Useless guide, the setting is not there on my Galaxy S8 running android 9
There is no Network access on Moto G7 Play Android 9/10 to disable app access to the internet. I was wondering which Android phone do you have?
Although my phone has Network Access, the option to selectively disable connections are not there.
Samsung Note 8 Pie/9
I have an android 9 pie phone but it does not have the network access setting and when I search for this setting it does not come up.

This is awesome. Anything similar available on iOS?
Thanks
The option “network access” does not appear for me. Android 9 pixel 3.
It doesn’t appear on m pixel 2, either. Android 9.
Doesn’t appear on my S8+ running Pie. Something tells me there is more needed than having Pie.
Same here. Mi A2, running stock Android 9.
It won’t let me click ok
What won’t let you click? Where?
