Is there any way to get rid of the notifications icon at the far right of the taskbar? They’re all turned off in settings & I’ve been able to get rid of all other unwanted icons.
Thanks.
To get rid of the Bing Chat AI button located AT THE TOP OF THE WINDOWS START MENU/SEARCH BAR, do the following:
Disable web search in Start on Windows 11, by opening the Group Policy editor (Go to windows search and type: “gpedit msc” an it will open up)
Then go to “User Configuration” > “Administrative Templates” > “Windows Components” > “File Explorer,” then open and enable the “Turn off display of recent search entries in the File Explorer search box” policy

Read this guide on how to handle notifications in Windows 11: https://www.digitalcitizen.life/windows-11-notifications/
It also shows how to stop receiving them.

This will make it all go away.
