Design and hardware specifications
The ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Mic Adapter is the world's first true plug-and-play microphone adapter that uses built-in AI to remove unwanted sounds. It works with any kind of device that has a USB-C port and with any headset that includes a microphone and uses a 3.5 mm connection. Weighing just 8 grams (0.28 ounces) and having a length of only 13.5 cm (5.32 in), the ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Mic Adapter is a portable device that you can take with you everywhere you go.
The AI (Artificial Intelligence) chip found inside this microphone adapter can mute unwanted noises around you seamlessly. It doesn't require any computing power from the device to which you connect it, whether that's a PC, laptop, smartphone, gaming console, or anything else.
Most devices these days come with USB-C ports, so you shouldn't have issues using the ASUS AI Noise-Cancelling Mic Adaptor. Still, if your computer, laptop, or gaming console doesn't have USB-C, the good news is that you also get a USB-C to USB Type-A adapter for additional compatibility and flexibility.
According to ASUS, the processor found inside this noise-canceling microphone adapter is loaded with sound profiles that can identify and remove more than 50 million types of background noises. At the same time, the processor maintains the original vocal sounds so that your voice is crystal-clear on the other side, for the people with whom you're talking.
The ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Mic Adapter also has an integrated 96 kHz / 24-bit DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that delivers audio to the headset. It features "exclusive ASUS Hyper-Grounding technology" that protects audio from electromagnetic interference (EMI noise).
ASUS' AI Noise-Canceling Mic Adapter is a lightweight, portable, and plug-and-play dongle that can enhance communications. It doesn't need to use your device's processor and uses AI to remove unwanted noise around you. It appears to be an excellent piece of technology for its purpose.
